Choices

This was a comment overheard by a favorite blogger of mine of an elderly man in a check out line. He was talking with the casher.

He had asked the cashier if she had a boyfriend and she had responded in the affirmative. Then he said: "Make sure he treats you right, we are defined by who we choose to keep in close company."

What wisdom he shared. Will we entertain it?
